DESCRIPTION
Seven days immersed in
history, visiting caves inhabited by men who landed on the Ionian coast where
they formed the first communities.
The journey will be
enriched by unique landscapes surrounded by a nature rich in biodiversity where
the territory is furrowed by ancient transhumance trails, allowing the visitors
to recover ancient flavors of which Lucanian cuisine is very rich.
The
journey takes the hosts to villages rich in stately palaces and castles as well
as churches of unique charm. Travelers will be accommodated in ancient typical
farmhouses or stately palaces, and will be able to dine in the company of
people not as tourists but as welcomed guests.
SERVICES
Transport to and from
Bari airport or station for those arriving by plane or train, accommodation,
board, guided tours where necessary, overnight stays almost always in “masserie”
(typical farmhouses) or country inns, lunch in the countryside where possible,
visits to dairy farms to witness cheese-making.
COSTS
Cost per person Euro
3,500 full tour, fees to be paid 50% on booking and 50% on departure.
Insurance coverage for
the whole trip.
Minimum four people,
