Departure from Martina
Franca through an area dense with Mediterranean vegetation, dotted with almond
groves, olive groves and vineyards to Ceglie Messapica, the capital of
gastronomy, to San Michele Salentino, further to San Vito dei Normanni on the
Adriatic coast, an area dotted with fortified “masserias” surrounded by
centuries-old olive trees, up to the white city of Ostuni, a balcony on the
Adriatic, via the beautiful Carovigno.
The village of
Casalino holds the surprise of wine aged with the music of Mozart. Cisternino
awaits visitors in its whitewashed alleys, through the splendid Itria Valley, a
walk among vineyards and trulli (typical tone-shaped constructions) to discover
the origins of the area.
SERVICES
An overnight stay,
board, lodging, guided tours where needed, overnight stays almost always in “masserie”
or country inns, lunch in the open countryside where possible, visits to dairy
farms to watch cheese-making and to wine cellars for wine tasting.

800 full tour, 50% to be paid on booking and 50% on departure of the trip.
