A plunge into the past
to get to know the places where the crusaders stocked up for the journey to the
Holy Land, the caves of Matera, travelling along the via Appia to the gates of
Brindisi and then up the via Traiana to the north in search of the Messapi and
the Iapigi, to the excavations of Egnatia, a uniquely beautiful archaeological
site, passing from the hills to the sea, crossing the lands of the ravines
inhabited by the peoples who reached the peninsula in ancient times.
The history, the
beauty of the landscapes, the friendliness of the locals, the excellent cuisine
handed down for centuries in a mixture of unique flavors and eating habits.
Discover
the slow journey through the Murgia of Matera, the ravines of Ginosa, Laterza,
Castellaneta, Palagianello, Massafra, Grottaglie and Villa Castelli. Seven days

SERVICES
Transport to and from Bari airport or station
for those arriving by plane or train, accommodation, board, guided tours where
necessary, overnight stays almost always in farmhouses or country inns, lunch
in the open countryside where possible.
COSTS
Cost per person Euro
3,500 full tour, possibility for half tour at Euro 2,000, fees to be paid 50%
at the time of booking and 50% on departure of the trip.
Insurance coverage for
the entire trip.
Minimum four people,
